Going on holidays? .

You deserve a break! Problem is, what to do with your beloved furry friend/s. There are a few options available to you but many are restricted by cost and by availability. Depending on the length of your trip, you can ask family or friends or even your friendly neighbour however if you are a frequent traveller, this can become a bit of a burden.  Kennels and Catteries are great and secure however they can be very expensive especially if you have more than one pet. You also run the risk of your pet becoming stressed with the travel factor. Many cats, in particular, hate car travel and couple that with being separated and you have stress.  There is also the issue of having to keep your pets immunised. Many people don't believe in immunisation beyond the initial kitten/puppy stage and many simply cannot afford it.

The answer?

A professional pet-sitter can be the ideal solution.
Pet sitters can come to your home and leave your pets in their own environment which can be a lot less stressful for them. Daily or twice daily visits with some light grooming, a play or walk, feeding and watering will make your absence from their lives a lot easier to bear than to be bundled up in the car and taken to an unfamiliar place with a lot of other animals in close vicinity. For pets who are not overly friendly with others, despite being in their own cages, this can be a traumatic time.
 

What I do....

 
At your request, I will come to your home and meet you and your furry/feathery companion. During this time, I will take down a detailed account of your pet/s and their likes and dislikes, any medications, preferred vets and your preferences for their care. My motto is Your Pets, Your Home, Your Way and this is my priority.  I will care for them just like you do and treat them as well as I treat my own beloved furrkidz. If they are important to you, then they are important to me.

No extra charge for multiple pets*I am at your home for the same amount of time and feeding, watering and playing doesn't demand I charge you extra for more than one pet. This is with the exception of dog walking which incurs a $5 fee for each extra dog. Max 3 dogs.

Having a nice snuggly  bed is essential for a pet who spends a lot of the time snoozing. Make sure your pet's bedding is kept free from draughts and is in a warm location. A cosy blanket over the bedding will keep them extra warm but remember to air it weekly and keep it washed regularly to keep any pests at bay!!
